About NUNi

NUNi Productions (Never Underestimate New Ideas) is a dynamic new theatre company that seeks to elevate the status and standard of multidisciplinary performance in Thailand and beyond. Comprised of passionate professionals, we have joined together to create opera, dance and dramatic pieces driven by great storytelling and innovative design.

We have set out to create our own company that thrills, engages, and communicates musically, dramatically and emotionally. Theatre must connect with its audience, the here-and-now; it must be vital and relevant to the lives of people today. We seek to open dialogues with our audiences and touch them with the full-sensory interactive experiences that are inherent to multidisciplinary arts. It is with this attitude that we set out to create great art, be it drama, opera, dance, new media or something entirely new and heretofore unexperienced.

NUNi’s Mission

NUNi Productions strives to be Thailand’s premiere professional opera and multidisciplinary arts company. We integrate music, movement, stagecraft and drama to create high-quality, international-standard operas and productions that invigorate audiences.

NUNi Productions is also dedicated to the nurturing and developing of a thriving performing arts community in Thailand and the Southeast Asian region. This also includes educating and expanding our audience through innovative, accessible and approachable education and outreach programmes.
